Campbell's Soup
All of us grew up eating soup from a red labeled tin can. Campbell's is currently filming a whole new series of commercials in Vancouver and I was on set yesterday playing my part. Sounds like these spots will be a series of vignettes so don't blink and keep an eye (just one) out for a weight lifting guy in a red shirt.

'Smallville' not full of small stuff
Despite my lack of formal "work" over the last few years, I had enough experience to get cast as Worker 1 for an upcoming episode of 'Smallville', now in its 10th season. Don't want to blow story for you 'Smallville' fans but so you don't miss me I confront Green Arrow and request an autograph. Enough said.

Vancouver Asian Film Festival
Was asked to act in a commercial to promote the Vancouver Asian Film Festival (VAFF). The theme of the festival is CombinAsian - there is a bit of Asian in everyone.

Ranger Charlie
Bradley Stryker, actor, director and former screenwriting classmate, invited me to audition for the role of Kip, an inebriated red neck. I think I got the part because acting drunk comes naturally and because I have red hair on my neck. Shot over 4 days in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, the story is about an inept but annoyingly eager Park Ranger who aspires to follow in her dad's footsteps of one day becoming a Police officer. A great cast and crew made it a treat to be a part of. Will post when complete.

Reality TV
RESCUE DOG INC. show trailer is the latest piece I've been working on. It is an homage to all the high quality reality TV programing we get these days. Any chance to sport the handle bar mustache.

Bezzerwizzer. What?
Was in a commercial for games maker Mattel. It is going to be North American or World wide so if anyone actually watches commercials anymore keep an eye for a BBQ rib devouring Brian. The game is called Bezzerwizzer. I think it has to do with peeing.

Glad to have this new streamlined site for (hopefully) easier navigationabilitynessitude and viewing on smart things like phones, but ONLY the smart ones. The users are dumb enough let's not let the phones get the lower hand.
New NOVUS TV piece entitled, "Dodgeball Special" is up. It's about gardening. Check it out over in SHORT FILMS.

Supernatural
Over the Olympics I spent 3 days on set working on episode 20 of the show Supernatural. This is the 5th season for the show and my first appearance on it. I'm the unfortunate security guard whose curiosity gets him consumed. Keep watching until you see something that might justify 3 hours in the make-up chair.

Hiccups on CTV
Back in October I booked a small role on Brent Butt's new comedy Hiccups. Not only was this my largest role to date, it is on one of the few Canadian comedies. Lots of fun and a great cast. You can stream the episode (Ep4) on www.ctv.ca.

Olympic bound
For the last several months I've been writing and hosting a segment for NOVUS TV here in Vancouver. The segments titled, "2010-101" are a unique and fun way to present information and interviews related to the Vancouver 2010 Olympics. If you find yourself falling asleep listening to the standard athlete interview you should enjoy these.
